HSE APPROVED FIRST AID AT WORK

The First Aid at Work Course is designed to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulation 1981 and its associated guidance.  It is aimed at employees who will be carrying out the duties of First Aiders in the workplaces.

The syllabus follows the guidelines of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and the treatment contained in the VAS Tripartite Manual.

On completion of the course, candidates will be assessed in their practical skills and theoretical knowledge and subject to success will be awarded a Certificate of Competence in First Aid at Work.  This certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue, and can be renewed by attending a First Aid at Work Refresher Course before the expiry date of their initial certificate.

The course is 18hrs in duration.  It can be delivered at one of our training venues across North Wales or at your own premises, and if necessary can be split into several manageable sessions to suit the business needs.
